Melting is the process of a substance transitioning from a solid state to a liquid state. Some common real world examples include ice melting into water, or ice cream slowly becoming softer and more fluid with exposure to heat.

"Melting" Scenarios

Melting can apply a number of unusual situations:

An elemental creature, food creature, or goo creature having a "melty" texture to them (drips, pooling), possibly while shifting from a solid to liquid form
Transformation, where the process involves the character melting and reconstituting themselves in a new form or alternatively, becoming a goo creature, food creature, or turning into an inanimate, melty object
Merging, where the characters involved melt into one another
Vore, where an ingested character loses shape and turns into goo as they're digested by the stomach acid, with little gore or blood
